"A river runs in the coarse veins of your arm
to your head your heart it crushes and
Wipes out the thoughts like sand beds
under the weight of an anchor so that
There can be no feel to each ship's dock
and arrival or departure, departures
Mostly in the fashion of slippery grips
which melt away with every grain
of salt within the drops of sea and
Blood and sea and blood and sea
